Throughout December 2013 many of ASG’s Suppliers across the Steel Construction Industry kindly donated a number of Christmas gifts as thank you’s for business generated over the year.
In previous years supplier donations have been given out to ASG employees , however this year, Maria from Accounts suggested a Christmas Charity Raffle. Having discussed this with the Office Team, everybody agreed that it would be a great idea!!
The next step was to decide on a charity to support, this wasn’t as easy as first thought due to there being so many great causes!! Tiffany in Sales researched lots of local charities and Martin House Children’s Hospice struck a cord, having read about all the brave children and their families, and how Martin House make a difference to support them in very difficult times.
All 40 ASG employees donated various amounts of money for raffle tickets, including Lee from Installations who donated £100!
On Friday 20th December when most of the employees broke up for Christmas, all gathered in the offices to see if they were lucky enough to win a prize….prizes included hilti tool boxes, work wear vouchers, wine, beer and more wine!!
ASG would like to thank suppliers and employees for getting behind this great cause, as the money raised will almost pay for 24 hours of care for a Martin House Family when they need it most.
