Pudsey Sixth Form College

ASG secured and executed  a metalwork package for a local Sixth Form College project

This project comprises of the construction of a new sixth form college in Pudsey, Leeds.

The 6th Form College will be a centre of academic excellence providing students with a high-quality learning space and a breadth of choice. The spaces created will enhance the wellbeing of users, achieve inclusivity, and embrace green building principles.


• Provision of approximately 3,000m² of new build accommodation, for 600 students.
• 26 classrooms each with an area of 50m², capacity to combine 3 classrooms into a single large space,
• 4 laboratory spaces: wet lab, prep lab and a dry lab
• Atrium including refectory, kitchen, and cafe
• Lecture theatre, library and learning zone
• Reception, staff and principalship offices
• Student support, tutorial, and counselling rooms
• First aid room and contemplation space
• Staff common room
• Ancillary spaces such as toilets, plant and circulation.

The site is extremely challenging due to an existing secondary school and a densely populated residential area being within close proximity.
